The Congress no doubt is on cloud nine following a clean sweep in bypolls. It won all three seats including Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha seats and Mandalgarh assembly constituency that too with a huge margin. As the party president, Pilot would want to keep morale of party workers high and intact till the assembly and Lok Sabha elections. However, the way he boasted about forming the next government, the question being asked is if Pilot is confident or overconfident.

Pilot said that people had given bumper majority to BJP in the last assembly election. However, he claimed that people have now made up their mind for change. He said that the Congress would break all records of winning seats to form the government.

“The entire country had eyes on these bypolls. The election results have enthused Congress workers across the nation,” Pilot said. According to him, the party high command including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are very happy with the results.

He asked party workers to start preparations for assembly and Lok Sabha elections. “This is not the time to sit at home. If we start work now, Congress will get people’s love and affection and it would return to power in Rajasthan and the center,” he said.

The newly-elected MP, Raghu Sharma gave thanks to the party workers for supporting the Congress ideology. He was so excited that he predicted that the Congress would win all 25 seats in the next Lok Sabha election.
