CM Vasundhara Raje adds ‘family feel’ to campaign

Nasirabad town of Ajmer parliamentary constituency almost came to a standstill on Saturday as thousands of residents emerged to get a glimpse of chief minister Vasundhara Raje. She was in the town for a meeting with party workers in the sequence of by-polls scheduled at the constituency. However, aspiring to see her many residents gathered on either side of roads while others occupied places at terraces in attempt to see the CM.

Even the chief minister, was touched by the heartwarming welcome and stepped up on her car’s foot stand, turning the journey in a ‘road show’.

“Overwhelmed with love and affection of residents of Naseerabad, I felt compelled to stand up and greet them,” CM Raje shared her emotions on social media. Enthralled to have the chief minister among themselves, residents greeted her with gifts and blessings. She assured to return the gesture with sustained development. “I expressed gratitude from deepest of my heart for this warm welcome and assure that we would continue our development works uninterrupted,” Raje said.

It has only been on Friday that CM Raje has initiated campaigning for the party candidates for by-elections and have covered parts of Ajmer LS and Mandalgarh assembly constituency in the first two days. The ‘road show’ of her was just an expression of her hold on the masses.

“I have always served Rajasthan as my family and have received affection in return from the public across the state,” Raje said. The CM tour has meanwhile boosted morals of the party workers. Her visit has added the much-needed momentum for campaigning in the constituency and also helped dissolve the caste equation complications to an extent. Raje to have met representatives of various communities and party workers helped resolve many unwanted differences.
