The overall passing percentage of Ajmer region has increased by 2.2 percent this year

The girls have once again outperformed boys with 90.30 percent against 83.70 percent in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12th results for the Ajmer region that were announced on Saturday.
The overall passing percentage of Ajmer region has increased by 2.2 percent this year. Ajmer region’s overall result was 86.80 per cent against 84.20 per cent of last year. The boys pass percentage improved by 1.60 per cent while the girls’ by 1.70 per cent.
Chahat Bodhraj of the Neerja Modi School, Jaipur, bagged the third rank at the all India level. The two other top positions too have gone to girls. Meghana Srivastava from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida - an Arts student - got 499 out of 500 marks to emerge at the top while Anoushka Chandra, also from Uttar Pradesh, finished second with just one mark behind with 498.
A student of the Humanities stream, Chahat secured 497 out of 500 marks while Akshat Goyal of IIS got the highest percentage 98.8 in the Commerce stream in the State. Siddhant Dhingra of St Xavier’s topped in the Science (PCMB) by scoring 100/100 in CBM
The Ajmer region of CBSE consists of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
As many as 1,42,993 students were registered for Class XII examinations in the Ajmer region while 1,41,993 appeared in the examination. A total of 117839 students have been successfully cleared the exam. While 9,678 students got supplementary and 8,815 failed.
The CBSE examinations were held from March 5 to April 13, 2018. After the news of paper leak on April 25, the paper of the economics was re-conducted.
IIS: Aadya Sharma topped in Humanities with 97.6%. Akshat Goyal in Comm with 98.8%. Vaibhav Mishra in Science with 96.8%.
Jayshree Periwal High School: Vani Tandon and Garima Pancholi in Humanities with 98.6%. Anushree Gupta in Science
with 97.8 %.
Sanskar School: Piyush Pathak in Science with 91%.
