The resolution passed at the Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) calls for promotion of local languages and dialects not just as carriers of culture, but also as the medium of education from primary to higher levels. It goes on to call upon governments and policy makers to work towards protecting the India languages.

This resolution gives solace and hope to many who feel that it will help to put an end to the raw deal being faced by Rajasthan. They further feel that with a BJP government at the centre, this suggestion by the RSS could further their cause of inclusion of Rajasthani in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
