Q. Have you ever thought that you will scale such heights?

A. I had never thought...I definitely had dreams of doing something big...people of small towns dream a lot...I had ambition since my childhood that I reach IAS rank...children of big cities are somewhat practical and that of small towns want to do something for the country...we don't have dreams of reaping riches, we want to make it big in life.

Q. You wanted to become  a doctor then how you ended up joining films?

A. I studied Science then my dreams were big...I thought If I become a doctor, I should become the best in the world...I had a roommate who was pursuing music...I developed interest then I joined theatre...I felt there are career options other than being doctor, engineer and IAS...my Guru in theatre said you should  try in movies and then I appeared for audition of Gangster.

Q. (to Producer): When did you meet Kangana?

A (Producer): We know Kangana for a long time. When we thought of making film Manikarnika then we could not think of any actor other than Kangana Ranaut... If we look at the character of Manikarnika, I don't think anyone other than Kangana in the Bollywood industry could have done justice to the role.

Q. In the initial days, who supported you... any Godfather?

A. When I didn't heed to my father then how can I listen to any Godfather...whenever anyone comes preaching ...don't do this, don't do that... I become aggressive...I can't tolerate God father and neither any Godfather can tolerate me...I don't like personalities who look at overpowering others. There are few directors who are supportive and show respect  but I don't gel well with those who are dominating. But now unpleasant incidents with those director ladies have come down as I have become a certified writer and directors now listen to my suggestions and they follow also.

Q. How was your experience?

A (Producer): We had very good experience with Kangana...her hard working attitude makes her stand tall among other actors. In this film she performed even difficult scenes herself...whether it was horse riding or fencing...she got hurt badly in a scene of fencing and had 17-18 stitches... even at that moment she must have been thinking that it's a story Rani Laxmi Bai and it demands blood... her spirit distinguishes her from other actors.

Q. How you learnt horse riding?

A. Horse riding looks very easy when you see...but when I tried it I felt it's very difficult. It took me a year to learn horse riding...I have done several dangerous stunts in this movie and in one of the stunts I almost lost my life.

Q. I have read somewhere that you are the most fashionable star in the industry?

A. I really like expression through fashion...you may call it my hobby...people find it cumbersome to get groomed  but I love it.

Q. You received Filmfare award at such a young age, how do you feel?

A. When I was young then it used to feel good receiving awards...but when I came to know about the complete politics of awards, the craze for such awards declined...now when I get awards I don't get emotional... when a things gets down in your view, you lose respect for that thing.

Q. Do you think this movie will also be an award winning movie?

A(Producer): For us this is not is movie, we are living it like a life... for me no story can be a bigger human story than Rani Laxmi Bai...the entire unit of this film is living with this story for last one year.

A (Kangana): Our industry has ignored the bravehearts of our country...no one talks about them...I think industry is always distracted towards them...I was trying to make this film for last two years but I could get any producer...this script was offered to me four times...when they came to me they came with complete plan.

Q. You people showed generosity towards Brahmin community who were protesting against the movie?

A (Producer): When I met them I told them one thing that whatever you people are saying is not known to anyone...people only know "Khoob ladi mardani wo to jhansi wali Rani thi" ... we don't want to aggravate this issue. We apprised the Brahmin community about the issues related to film and they withdrew their protest.

Q. Some people are saying that the film will be released around 15th August?

A. (Producer): We are also thinking on the same lines.

Q. Most of her movies become Superhit then do you this movie will cross Rs 100-200 crore mark?

A (Producer): Every producer has this hope...but we are thinking that the film reaches out to every corner and every child views this movie. They should learn something from this movie...our subject is the real hero of our movie.

Q. I have heard that you have appreciated PM a lot?

A. I am great fan of Modi...in my view he is real role model...people compare me with him...I say don't compare me he (Modi) started from zero...Modi is an inspiration for me.

Q. How do you see him as the PM?

A. I respect him a lot...I can't rate him...if a common man can become a PM then it's a victory of democracy...I would like to give him full marks.

Q. Do you want to enter into politics?

A. I think I should enter but there will be lot of criticism about fashion...I think few artists defamed politics...the country is not a country where there is no politics...I had not thought because it does not look glamorous profession.

Q. Some controversies also gets connected?

A. Some controversies become major...but I am thinking I should filter myself... I think if I had to suppress myself the why I had left my home...but I never wanted that life...

Q. In Geetanjali controversy, your payment is also due?

A. It's beyond my imagination that the moneyed people also need money...moneyed people think that poor has wrong intentions.
