In a recently released video on Mumbai Indians’ official Facebook page, team captain Rohit Sharma, Parthiv Patel, Hardik Pandya, Mitchell Johnson, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell McClenaghan, Deepak Punia, Krishnappa Gowtham along with other team mates are seen grooving to The Black Eyed Peas' famous song, I got a feeling.
And although they chose a pretty outdated song to perform to, they still managed to steal our hearts.
The video doesn't seem to be an impromptu jig that the players spontaneously did, certain parts of their little performance definitely look rehearsed.
And although the performance is very goofy, it leaves you grinning throughout.
The video was released a day after the Mumbai Indians defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders in a nail-biting match and just before a match with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mumbai Indians secured a victory with 4 wickets and only spared the last ball.
The message in the video came true, as it did end up being a good night for the Mumbai Indians when they beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets and eight balls to spare in match 10 of IPL 2017 on April 12, 2017.
