Actor Rishi Kapoor wants the Indian Premier League (IPL) authorities to allow Pakistani players to play the T20 tournament, given that they have already chosen players from Afghanistan.

The opening match of the IPL between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be a great opportunity for Afghan players Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan who have been bought by SRH.  

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor who has always been vocal on Twitter, took to the micro-blogging site to express his views to about Pakistani players' inclusion in IPL.

Many fans have also supported the veteran actor on his urge to take the Pakistani players. The last match played between India and Pakistan was a T20 World Cup in 2016 in Kolkata. Political tensions between the nations have hampered Indo-Pak fixtures and the last bilateral series had occured almost five years back.
