Despite the loss, the Virat Kohli-led RCB continues to remain at the third spot. The skipper himself had scored a half-century in 42-balls.

During the course of his innings, Kohli became the first batsman in IPL history to hit both 200 sixes and 500 fours.

During his knock, the RCB captain became the third Indian and overall the fifth player to smash 200 IPL sixes. CSK captain MS Dhoni has hit the most IPL sixes among Indians (216), followed by Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma (209).

As for the clash, CSK keep their dream to qualify for the IPL 2020 playoffs alive. MS Dhoni’s side, who were at the bottom of the table have now climbed to the seventh spot.
