IPL 2020 will begin in a blockbuster manner with four-time champions Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings at the Sheikh Abu Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. IPL 2020 is finally taking place after a delay of six months due to the coronavirus pandemic and it will be a welcome relief for fans who have been starved of seeing their favorite Indian players in action. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings played the final in IPL 2019 and it was Rohit Sharma’s side who got the better of MS Dhoni’s team with a thrilling one-run.
Both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are missing their key personnel. Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh have decided to skip the tournament due to personal reasons while Mumbai Indians will miss the services of Lasith Malinga due to his father’s illness.
