IPL 2020: King Kohli gets his mojo back, reaches 50 against Rajasthan Royals

3, 1, 14 - after starting of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on a bad note, Virat Kohli has found his mojo back as he smashed 50 in the clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Coming in to bat after the departure of Aaron Finch, Kohli started off slow and played second fiddle to Devdutt Padikkal. The RCB skipper kept rotating the strike as he reached his half-century in 43 balls. In his innings, he smashed two maximums of the 2020 edition and 4 fours. 

In 269 innings, Kohli has 8918 runs in T20s at an average of 40.72 and a strike rate of 134.24 with five hundreds and 64 fifties to his name.Kohli, who is the leading run-scorer of the IPL, has 5430 runs in 180 matches. 

As for RCB, they had a mixed start to the tournament. After they registered important victories against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI), they did suffer a crushing defeat against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
