From Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul's fifty to Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami's Super Over to even KL Rahul's run-out and Mayank Agarwal's match-winning save on the boundary, the clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) saw it all.
What got fans even more excited was the yorker-battle between Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. The two pacers put on a furious show with an outstanding exhibition of toe-crushing yorkers in the first Super Over.
Bumrah gave away only five runs, and his performance was matched by Shami, who cemented his spot as one of the finest death bowlers.
Here is how fans reacted to the yorker feast:
So it's a tie between India's two best fast bowlers at this time -- Bumrah and Shami. #MIvKXIP

Bumrah's and Shami's death bowling today reminds me of what Mike Athertone said before WC 2019. "Give me Kohli and Kohli's bowlers and I'll win any game for you."

Shami was equally good as Bumrah to take the game to another super over. First time ever in @IPL history. What a match and what a weekend of Cricket #MIvKXIP

It was the second Super Over that determine the result and KXIP, boosted by an epic six from Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal finally won an epic, pulsating match.
