Sunrisers Hyderabad will square off against Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi. David Warner’s side have won four consecutive games on the trot and they have the wood over Delhi Capitals, winning both their league games. For Delhi Capitals, they will face a team for the second consecutive time which they have not defeated in IPL 2020. Delhi Capitals have won only once in the history of the IPL playoffs but that one win was against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator in IPL 2019. However, they will face an uphill task this time as well.
David Warner, Jason Holder, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and Wriddhiman Saha have been in good form for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rashid Khan in particular has taken six wickets in two games against Delhi Capitals. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have struggled in their batting for the last five games out of six. Shikhar Dhawan has not had a steady opening partner with Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane not performing consistently. Delhi Capitals will have to boost their batting so that they can give their power-packed bowling some respite in defending the total. The winner of Qualifier 2 will clash against Mumbai Indians in the final on November 10.
Abu Dhabi weather today
The weather in Abu Dhabi will be slightly cloudy and there is actually 20 percent chances of rain. The maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 25 degrees. The humidity will be 56 percent but there will be a little less dew in Abu Dhabi as compared to Dubai and Sharjah.
Pitch conditions
The Sheikh Zayed stadium wicket has good carry and assistance for the pacers early on but the spinners will come into play once the ball gets softer. A target of 170-180 will be a tough total to chase.
