David Warner is one of the best batsman when it comes to the IPL 2020 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In IPL 2020, David Warner created history as he went past 500 runs for the sixth consecutive edition. As captain, he has led from the front as Sunrisers Hyderabad reached the playoff stages of the IPL for the fifth consecutive time. Apart from his exploits for Australia and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL, David Warner is also a brilliant dancer and his videos on TikTok were an absolute sensation. However, one particular dance to a song went viral and won Warner plenty of plaudits.

David Warner performed the same dance number when Sunrisers Hyderabad entered the playoffs by beating Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets. Now, speaking to a TV channel, David Warner has said that he will perform the #ButtaBomma dance if Sunrisers Hyderabad win the IPL 2020. Butta Bomma is an Indian Telugu-language song composed by S. Thaman for the soundtrack of the 2020 action-drama film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo sung by Armaan Malik and penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. The music video version of the single was officially released on 25 February 2020 on YouTube by Aditya Music. The music video features Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde dancing for the single. Jani Master, who choreographed the song received lots of praise for his work for the single.

Warner to do the dance

Speaking on Sports Tak, David Warner said, “I promise all the Hyderabad fans that, if we do get across the line, I will do the Butta Bomma. This team means a lot to me, it's family. I call India my second home, this means a lot to myself. I have so much passion for this franchise. I have been here since the 2nd year. I have had the backing and support of the franchise to get me in the auction. They gave me that belief and let me lead the side in 2016. Obviously, with Kane (Williamson) and Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) taking over the reins last year when I was not there, this means a lot to all of us. This involves a lot of planning, a lot of hard work, a lot of preparation,” Warner said.

During the Eliminator clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad endured some nervous moments but Kane Williamson and Jason Holder ensured that the team got over the line.

“When you get to these games, you feel a bit of nerves. You have got a lot of time to waste during the day before you get out there. It's almost like you're playing the game in your mind, when you're sleeping, when you have coffee. You are always thinking 'how to go about it?'. At the end of the day, you have to keep it simple, clear mind. It's our job, it's fun. I go out there with a calm mind and try to execute the game as well as I can,” Warner told Sports Tak.
