Delhi Capitals (DC) cruised to a 44-run over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on matchday seven of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Friday (September 25). CSK's slow and sloppy batting display ignited fans on Twitter asking for Suresh Raina's comeback to the side.

Just days before the IPL 2020's kickoff, Raina opted out of the tournament due to "personal problems" and left a huge gap in CSK's batting lineup.

With this win, DC has now bagged back-to-back victories in the opening two matches of an IPL season for the first time since 2010.

In chase of a target score of 176, CSK got off to a horrible start as they lost both their openers early on.

Shane Watson (14) departed first for the dressing room after Axar Patel bagged a huge wicket for his side early. Delhi Capitals pacer Anrich Nortje was next to strike for his side as they dismissed Murali Vijay for 10 runs.

Young batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad (5) had yet another nightmare as he once again lost his wicket via run-out.

Kedar Jadhav (26) also did not manage to do much as he also lost his wicket cheaply. Faf du Plussies was the only batsman in the CSK ranks who got going and but his 43-run knock came to an end soon with Kagiso Rabada bagging a big wicket for DC.

CSK skipper MS Dhoni did promote himself up the batting order but failed to deliver his killer blow on the chase as Rabada continued his dominance with the ball, dismissing Dhoni (15) and Jadeja (12) in the final over of the game as CSK ended on 131/7.
