It is kept gaining height but Lockie appears into the frame, holds onto the catch, realizes that he's going over the ropes, so, throws it to the near-by fielder and Gill completes the rest.

Pat Cummins sends Vijay Shankar for 7

Short, skiddy delivery and Shankar shapes for the pull from the crease. He loses his shape and a top edge follows which descends and lands into the safe hands of Gill.

A dream delivery and a perfect yorker that has the better of Manish Pandey. Third wicket for Ferguson as the fast, dipping, and on target off-stump yorker.

Quick wickets for SRH, Bairstow goes for 36

What a massive strike! The well-set Bairstow departs for 36. Chakravarthy threw it up slower and fuller, inviting the big shot and Bairstow goes after it. He doesn't get enough leverage on the loft and it's a dolly for Andre Russell.

Ferguson gets his 2nd, Priyam Garg departs

A double strike from Ferguson! Garg backed away early, showed his cards and the Kiwi took his chance. He opts for the leg-cutter, no pace on it, and attacks the stumps. Garg's batting promotion to no. 3 hasn't worked and he'll be disappointed.

Williamson's fine innings ends, goes for 29

There's the wicket KKR were desperately seeking! Williamson was going to continue with his attacking approach, given his fitness concerns. However, he tried to hit Ferguson's pace on the uppercut. Doesn't quite make the desired connection.

SRH get Morgan's wicket on last ball, KKR post 163 runs

A wicket off the last ball, but KKR won't mind it as they post 163 runs. Thampi bowled this well wide of off, the KKR skipper looked to flat bat it but doesn't quite get the elevation. He hits it flat and straight to the incoming fielder at long-off. 

This was Basil Thampi's first wicket in IPL in 121 balls, five matches, and 904 days.

Russell's bad form continues, goes got 9

Andre Russell's poor run of form with the bat continues. Nice length delivery from T Natarajan, perhaps bowled it a touch fuller but made sure it was far outside off-stump for Russell to fetch. And the Muscle man backs himself to clear the bigger boundaries on the leg-side but is picked out at deep mid-wicket fielder to perfection. 

Dinesh Karthik, a right-handed bat, comes to the crease.

Priyam Garg does it again, Rana sent back for 29

Two set batsmen sent back to the hut in quick succession. A spectacular effort from the youngster Priyam Garg. Nitish Rana went for a mighty slog on the leg-side, lack of pace got more height than distance. There was no-one at mid-wicket but Garg came sprinting from the deep and covered a good few miles to take the catch.

Priyam Garg's dive sends Gill back for 36

Priyam Garg continues to impress and this time with a splendid dive. Shubman Gill looks to break the shackles and goes for the inside-out loft, the ball skews off the inside half and flies to the left of wide long-off where Garg takes a full-length diving catch to his left. 

Andre Russell, the right-handed bat, comes to the crease.

Natarajan strikes, Tripathi goes for 23

A lapse in concentration and Tripathi is bowled. It is a fraction short and at the stumps, wasn't short enough for the pull, Tripathi was through with the shot and missed the ball. It crashed into the top of the middle-stump and the bails go flying. 

With that dismissal, KKR remains the only side not to have a 50+ opening stand so far this IPL.
