Several women troops have been deployed inside jungles in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district. They have been deployed to undertake active and prolonged operations against naxals in Gadchiroli. Women are conducting combing operation inside jungles, a joint operation done by allies or multi security agency for cleansing an area. Female police officers are also doing short and long-range patrolling. They are spreading awareness among villagers about various things related to naxalites.
