While speaking to media in Mumbai on December 07 about the Telangana woman rape and murder case which took place near Hyderabad on November 27, Tollywood popular actress Samantha Akkineni said, “It is wrong to say that there is happiness in the encounter but I also believe that currently fear is the only solution.” “There are about 3 crores pending cases in our courts and when the time is for justice then it will going to take so long. I hope that this is a wakeup call to fix our judiciary system and law,” she added. “Victims and their families should not wait for so long but at the same time, I will not stand here and celebrate encounters. It (encounter) is a not a matter of happiness,” Samantha further stated.
