‘We’ll have to be alert’ Chhattisgarh Health Minister on new COVID variants

Chhattisgarh health minister TS Singh Deo on June 22 spoke about Delta and Delta plus variant. He said that Chhattisgarh always lead in providing vaccine to everyone. Centre tried to hide their mistakes by misguiding the people. He said the state has enough vaccines and its aiming to vaccinate 2 lakh people daily. He said, “Many variants will come in the days to come because virus keeps mutating. Right now we have delta and delta plus variants. We'll have to be alert & it'll have to be seen if vaccine is effective against them.”
