Heavy rains caused water-logging in parts of Mumbai on July 16 and also led to the diversion of traffic routes in several parts of the city. Due to the downpour and water-logging the railway tracks were seen waterlogged at Chunabhatti railway station. Wadala area on July 16 also witnessed severe water-logging. Regional Meteorological Centre, Mumbai predicts, “light to moderate rain in city & suburbs with possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places" for next 24 hours.
