Vegetable prices soared high in Patna. The price soared high due to a shortage of supply caused by heavy rains and floods. After prices of onions rose, prices of other vegetables also shot up. The excessive rainfall and flood-like situation in many parts of the country have affected the vegetable prices. Earlier, the government had imposed a ban on the export of the onions to curb and bring down it’s the prices in the domestic market.
