Varanasi Devotees take holy dip in Ganga on last Monday of ‘Sawan’ month

Devotees on August 16 took holy dip in the Ganga River and offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, on the last Monday of 'Sawan' month. People in large numbers were seen flouting COVID-19 norms. According to Hindu calendar, 'Sawan' is considered to be the most auspicious month of the year and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
