Ahead of Uttarayan festival, the students of IDT Fashion Institute in Surat have decided to celebrate the occasion with unique ideas. In a survey, students found that birds are afraid of red colour, smell of garlic and mint. Therefore, the students decided to use these in making of kites and kite-strings.
