The Economic Survey presented in Parliament estimated Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to grow at a rate of 6 to 6.5 percent in the coming fiscal year of 2020-21. Speaking on the estimates of Economic Survey, Principal Economic Advisor to Finance Ministry, Sanjeev Sanyal, said these targets can be easily achieved. He said, “The loss we had in previous 3-4 quarters, but these numbers are now leveled. In future, certain things would be in our favour. We have cleaned our bank, and now they have capital to invest. Bank should loan more because they have liquidity now. We will easily have the growth at the rate of 6 to 6.5 percent.”
