While the Conservative Party, led by incumbent PM Rishi Sunak, is expected to win just 131 seats. 'I am sorry, I take responsibility for the loss,' Rishi Sunak said while addressing his supporters. To form a majority, a party needs 326 seats out of the 650 seats in the House of Commons. Notably, the conservative party has been in power for the last 14 years. During this period, the United Kingdom has seen five Prime Ministers.
