Supporters of the Shiv Sena faction and Uddhav Thackeray faction clashed over taking control of a local office of the party in Maharashtra’s Thane city on March 06. The police have beefed up security in view of the situation of conflict between the two groups. The Thackeray faction opposed the demand of Shinde group for possession of the branch. Sadashiv Nikam said, “Police reached the spot and dispersed them. No untoward incident happened. So far we have not received any complaint from any faction.”
