Kovalam in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram is getting a full tourism season after the last year's devastating floods. Though the numbers may be less compared with earlier seasons, the administration is hoping that the tourist flow will increase once the season progresses. The tourism season starts in November and continues till February. Tourists visiting Kovalam are mainly from countries like UK, Russia, Germany and Scandinavian countries.
