BJP president Amit Shah blamed the TMC for the violent clashes during his roadshow and said the ruling party in West Bengal got ‘frustrated’ with the ‘huge turnout’ that was seen during his roadshow in Kolkata. Shah accused the TMC of trying to create a stampede-like situation at his roadshow, and appreciated BJP workers of not getting his roadshow coming to any halt. Violent clashed had erupted during Shah’s roadshow in Kolkata where the BJP workers accused TMC-affiliated students of hurling bricks on Shah’s truck.
