Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nalin Kumar Kateel took charge as Karnataka BJP chief in Bengaluru on August 27. He was felicitated by state Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. Speaking on this development, Yediyurappa said, “He is a hard worker, he has become a member of Lok Sabha for the 3rd time. The entire organisation is with him, we are going to win a minimum of 150 seats in next Assembly elections under his leadership. Later, when he was asked about the difference of opinion in portfolio allocation, he added, “There is no difference of opinion.”
