A diamond merchant from Gujarat's Surat has made a contribution of Rs 11 crore for the construction of the Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. The diamond trader, Govind Dholakiya, belongs to the family of farmers. He studied till 7th standard and later started working in the diamond Industry. After working for a few years, Dholakiya decided to open up his own diamond company along with his friends.
