13 constituent colleges under Central Agricultural University (CAU) in seven Northeast states distributed agricultural input to show solidarity with farmers who have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. A donation of one day's salary was pledged from teaching and other staffers of these colleges and the university. In line with that, the College of Fisheries Lembucherra in West Tripura district organised a distribution function of agricultural inputs. Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh inaugurated the program in Imphal. Specials guests including Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, MP Agatha Sangma, MP RK Ranjan took part virtually.
