‘She has been wrong before’ EAM Jaishankar on UNHRC chief’s criticism of CAA

Union External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar attended Global Business Summit in Delhi on March 07 where he said that through Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), government has tried to reduce the large number of stateless people in India, and also responded to the criticism of the law by UN Human Rights Council Director Michelle Bachelet. “Sure, she has been wrong before. I have seen reports on Jammu and Kashmir by the same body, how carefully they skirt around the cross border terror problem as if it’s nothing to do with country next door,” Jaishankar said.
