Shashi Tharoor raises his concern over unauthorised movement of EVMs

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also jumped into the ongoing issue of EVMs. He said that he has not seen any irregularities of EVM in Kerala, but he raised concerns over unauthorised movement of the EVMs. “We have seen the video of the unauthorised movement of the EVMs. I gathered the information that these EVMs are not used in the elections. If machines that have nothing to do with the election are being transported before the polling counting date, what does that mean? We are very puzzled and concerned. I think my party and other parties were right to go to see the Election Commission. I hope EC will take exemplarily action against those who are foolish enough to move unnecessary machines the day before counting,” said Thaoor. Earlier, 22 Opposition parties met Election Commission regarding EVM issues.
