The Delhi fire service has identified several coaching centers in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar where basic safety norms are not followed. These coaching centers have only one entry/exit point, electricity meters are placed at the entrance & exposed wirings were spotted. Delhi Govt has ordered to inspect whether fire safety norms are being followed at coaching centres. The audit is being done after fire at a coaching centre in Surat killed more than 20 students.
