Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually flagged off six routes to expand aerial connectivity of North-East India on October 18. Minister of State (MoS) for Civil Aviation General VK Singh was also present along with other officials. The routes on which operations have started from are Kolkata–Guwahati, Guwahati–Aizawl, Aizawl–Shillong, Shillong–Aizawl, Aizawl–Guwahati and Guwahati–Kolkata.
