Schools for students of classes 5th to 8th reopened in Maharashtra’s Pune on February 01. The schools followed COVID-19 guidelines amid pandemic fear. Schools in summer zones of Jammu division also resumed classes for students of standard 9th to 12th from today. Speaking to ANI, a student said, “We used to attend classes online but it was boring. I missed school and my friends. It feels good to be back to school.” Students and teachers were allowed entry only after thermal screening. Schools for classes 9 and 11 reopened in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad from today onwards. All educational institutions were forced to shut down due to coronavirus pandemic.
