Rs 30757 crore for JK in Budget 2020 Ladakh gets Rs 5958 crore FM Sitharaman

During Budget speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the central government has allocated an amount of Rs 30,757 crore for 2020-21 for Jammu and Kashmir and an amount of Rs 5,958 crore for Ladakh. In her speech, she said, "Northeastern region is a very high priority in Government Development Agenda. The Government is fully committed to supporting newly-formed Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh. Accordingly an amount of Rs 30,757 crore has been provided for the financial year 2020-2021 for Jammu and Kashmir, and an amount of Rs 5,958 crore for Ladakh."
