Rath Yatra People of Puri willingly abide by all COVID regulations says Odisha DGP

The ‘Rath Yatra’ of Lord Jagannatha is underway in Puri and like last year, devotees are not allowed in the procession this year also due to the COVID pandemic. “Like last year, this year also, we are conducting ‘Rath Yatra’ in Puri with no devotees. So far, people of Odisha and especially, people of Puri, willingly abided by all the regulations. And, I am sure that they will continue to abide by COVID regulations. We hope, pray and wish that next year, we’ll be able to invite all the devotees to join here physically,” said Odisha DGP Abhay Kumar.
