Women of a self-help group in Balod district of Chhattisgarh is making ‘rakhis’ by using vegetable seeds, paddy, and bamboo. “The women of this group made 5,000 ‘rakhis’ last year and earned Rs 1 lakh. This year, we have so far earned Rs 90,000 by selling ‘rakhis’,” said Group member Lata Sahu.
