A day before the counting of votes of the recently-concluded Assembly elections in Karnataka, the Janata Dal (Secular) National Spokesperson Tanveer Ahmed’s remarks on forming government in the state have sparked a row. Tanveer Ahmed on May 12 said that they have already decided which party they would support in forming the government after the results are declared. While reacting to this, Congress Leader Dinesh Gundu Rao told ANI, “Everybody will say that. Nobody going to say that tomorrow we are going to lose. Ultimately, the reality on the ground is what is going to decide everything. We are very confident. They also may be confident. But on the ground, it is definitely a pro-Congress wave.”
