The pandemic Coronavirus had scared tour and travel business in Gujarat’s Vadodara. People are canceling their travel bookings and this has become a nightmare for tour and travel operators and agents. According to one of the travel agents in Gujarat, “The travel industry is facing around Rs 700- 800 crore loss. The buses have monthly fixed taxes, if this thing had happened in February, it would have been far easier manage the situation.” The tour and travel operators are thinking to submit a memorandum over the issue to the state government.
