Outgoing Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on August 10 planted a sapling at Parliament House in Delhi. He was accompanied by Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh. The sapling planted is ‘Sita Ashoka’, a perennial, evergreen tree valued for its fragrant flowers, medicinal values.
