On 66th Everest Day people in Siliguri mourn deaths of mountaineers in pursuit of the summit

On 66th Everest Day, locals in Siliguri mourned tragic deaths of the mountaineers during the mountain expeditions in this month. At least 15 climbers including Indians have died during the Mount Everest expedition in the past few days. Tenzing Norgay had scaled the summit of the world’s highest mountain for the first time on May 29, 1953. The day is internationally celebrated as Everest Day.
