While speaking to media on raids on spas in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddh Nagar, which took place yesterday, Superintendent of Police (Rural) of Gautam Buddh Nagar Vineet Jaiswal said, “Around 14 teams conducted raids at 14 spas. All of them have been sealed. Three of those 14 spas were being used to run a prostitution racket and case has been registered against them.” “35 people have been arrested including 25 women and 10 men. More than Rs 1 Lakh cash, used and unused condoms, beer cans and other objectionable material have also been seized. Police is taking further action in this regard,” he added.
