‘No vaccination, no sale’: Liquor shops in UP spread COVID awareness
In order to promote COVID vaccination drive, liquor stores in Saifai of Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district started to sell alcohol only to people with COVID-19 vaccinated certificates. “We're selling liquor only after checking the vaccination certificate of the customer,” said a shopkeeper. Speaking about the instructions to stores, District Excise Officer Kamal Kumar Shukla said that no such order has been issued by the govt.
