While speaking to ANI on BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis’s resignation, BJP’s Babanrao B Pachpute said, “Everything changed after the Supreme Court decision came and then Ajit dada resigned due to his personal reasons. We had a BJP Core Committee meeting right after Pawar’s resignation and we decided that we don’t have the numbers and Devendra Fadnavis should resign and we should not indulge in horse trading.” He further said, “In this entire scenario, BJP understood the matter so well. No horse trading should happen.” Speaking on alliance with Ajit Pawar, Babanrao said, “Ajit dada came and met us. He had 54 MLAs. If he came with us, we would not have any problem. But things changed later. Let them form the government. ”
