Janata Dal (United) MLC Khalid Anwar has demanded Nobel Prize for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for latter’s contribution in climate protection. “I don't want the Nobel Prize for Nitish Kumar, rather I want it for the leader of 12 crore people of Bihar, who today is Nitish Kumar. The basis of my demand is that in 2007, Nobel Prize was given for climate change to ex-American Vice President Al Gore. Like him, even Nitish Kumar is working for climate. For the first time, Nitish ji held a joint session on climate change in July. He again held a special session on it today. He has allocated a big-budget towards the cause, which should be recognised nationally and internationally,” Anwar told ANI.
