Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal laid foundation stone of 1500-bed medical block at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital on October 23. Speaking to media, Kejriwal said, “A new medical block has been started at LNJP Hospital today. It has total 25 floors where 1500 beds have been added. Earlier, there were 2000 beds in the hospital and now the total number of beds will be 3,500.” “The specialty of this hospital that it will be centrally air-conditioned with world’s best medical facilities including operation theatres, ICUs etc.,” he added. “This hospital will be ready in 30 months with the cost of Rs 450 crore,” CM Kejriwal further stated.
