Civil Aviation Ministry’s Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola on Air India’s disinvestment said that multiple ‘Expression of Interests’ have been received for the Air India privatisation. “The Air India privatisation process which is underway, it is a two stage process which is being run by transaction adviser. The first stage is of submission of ‘expression of interests,’ which simply means that bidders have interest in Air India. As of now, multiple 'Expression of Interests' received. In the next step, eligible bidders will be asked for 'Request for proposal,’ said Pradeep Singh Kharola during a press conference on December 29.
