Mortal remains of Lance Naik recovered after 38 years at Siachen Glacier

Mortal remains of Lance Naik Chandrashekhar, who went missing in a snowstorm during an operation in Siachen Glacier in 1984, were recovered after 38 years by a patrolling team. His remains were handed over to his family. Speaking on her loss, Martyr’s wife Shanti Devi said, “For 8-10 years after he went missing, we kept hoping for his return but now it has been 38 years.”
