On June 09, the Monsoon covered the entire Maharashtra, as informed by India Meteorological Department (IMD) of Mumbai. IMD Mumbai scientist, Shubhangi Bhute said, 'Yesterday, extremely heavy rainfall received in one or two areas, and heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the remaining parts. Parts of Koukan are under orange alert for next 4-5 days. Monsoon has covered the entire Maharashtra including Vidarbha today. In the coming days, Koukan is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall.'
